A textile rooted in tradition, shaped by hand and time. Handwoven from natural cotton in West Africa, this mudcloth is dyed using fermented mud and plant-based pigments, then carefully hand-painted by skilled artisans. Each motif carries a primitive, symbolic language — a quiet expression of heritage and identity.
Every piece is entirely handmade and hand-stamped, embracing natural variations in tone, pattern, and texture. Subtle stains, irregular markings, and paint traces are not flaws, but marks of authenticity — giving each cushion its own unique character.
